18Philistine soldiers had also attacked towns in the low hills in the west of Judah and in the Negev in the south. They took these towns for themselves and they lived in them:
Beth-Shemesh, Aijalon, Gederoth;
Soco, Timnah and Gimzo with the villages around them.
