This was at the time when Babylon's army took the Israelites away to Babylon as their prisoners.1:11 Babylon was a rich and powerful city on the Euphrates River. Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon who attacked Jerusalem, the capital city of Judah. He took the people of Judah away as his prisoners to Babylon.
