1 Corinthians 10:11

11These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.

11Those things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us. That’s because we are living at the time when God’s work is being completed.

11All these things happened to our ancestors so that we would learn from them. They are written in the Bible to teach us important lessons. We are people who live at a time when all things will become complete.

11And all these things happened to those persons as types, and they were written for our admonition, to whom the end of the ages came,
