1 Corinthians 11:29

29For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.

29For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the 11:29 I.e., body of the Lordbody.

29For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly.

29For anyone who eats and drinks [without solemn reverence and heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifice of Christ], eats and drinks a judgment on himself if he does not 11:29 I.e. respect Christ’s sacrifice and his fellow believers for whom Christ also died.recognize the body [of Christ].

29For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body11:29 BYZ and TR the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself.

29Whoever eats and drinks must recognize the body of Christ. If they don’t, judgment will come upon them.
