1 Corinthians 6:4

4Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church?

4So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church?

4So if you have lawsuits dealing with matters of this life, are you appointing those as judges [to hear disputes] who are of no account in the church?

4So if you need to settle everyday matters, do you appoint as judges those of no standing in the church?

4If then ye have to judge things pertaining to this life, do ye set them to judge who are of no account in the church?

4If then ye haue iudgements of things perteining to this life, set vp them which are least esteemed in the Church.

4If then you have to judge things pertaining to this life, do you set them to judge who are of no account in the assembly?

4So suppose you disagree with one another in matters like this. Who do you ask to decide which of you is right? Do you ask people who live in a way the church disapproves of? Of course not!

4If you want to decide an ordinary matter like that, what do you do? Why do you go to a judge that people in the church do not respect?

4Of the things of life, indeed, then, if you may have judgment, those despised in the Assembly—these you cause to sit;
