1 Corinthians 8:9

9Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak.

9But take care that this freedom of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.

9Only be careful that this liberty of yours [this power to choose] does not somehow become a stumbling block [that is, a temptation to sin] to the weak [in conscience].

9But take heede lest by any meanes this power of yours be an occasion of falling, to them that are weake.

9But be careful how you use your rights. Be sure you don’t cause someone weaker than you to fall into sin.

9You are free to eat any kind of food. You understand that. But other Christians do not understand so well. So you must be careful. Do not cause them to do something that they think is wrong.

9but see, lest this privilege of yours may become a stumbling-block to the weak,
