1 Corinthians 9:13

13Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?

13Do you not know that those who perform sacred services eat the food of the temple, and those who attend regularly to the altar have their share 9:13 Lit withfrom the altar?

13Do you not know that those who officiate in the sacred services of the temple eat from the temple [offerings of meat and bread] and those who regularly attend the altar have their share from the [offerings brought to the] altar? [Deut 18:1]

13Do you not know that those who work in the temple eat of its food, and those who serve at the altar partake of its offerings?

13People who serve in the temple get their food from the temple. Don’t you know this? People who serve at the altar eat from what is offered on the altar. Don’t you know this?
