1 John 2:28

28And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

28Now, little children (believers, dear ones), remain in Him [with unwavering faith], so that when He appears [at His return], we may have [perfect] confidence and not be ashamed and shrink away from Him at His coming.

28And now, little children, remain in Christ,2:28 Literally remain in Him so that when He appears, we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.

28Dear children, remain joined to Christ. Then when he comes, we can be bold. We will not be ashamed to meet him when he comes.
