1 John 2:4

4Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

4The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

4Whoever says, “I have come to know Him,” but does not habitually keep [focused on His precepts and obey] His commandments (teachings), is a liar, and the truth [of the divine word] is not in him.

4If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

4Hee that saith, I knowe him, and keepeth not his commandements, is a liar, and the trueth is not in him.

4One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him.

4Suppose someone says, “I know him.” But suppose this person does not do what God commands. Then this person is a liar and is not telling the truth.

4Someone might say, ‘I belong to God.’ But if he does not obey God's commands, that person is telling a lie. He is not living in the way that God's true message teaches us.

4he who is saying, “I have known Him,” and is not keeping His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
