1 John 5:14

14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

14And this is that assurance, that we haue in him, that if we aske any thing according to his will, he heareth vs.

14Here is what we can be sure of when we come to God in prayer. If we ask anything in keeping with what he wants, he hears us.

14Also, we can trust God to help us when we turn to him. We know that he will hear us. When we ask for anything that he wants us to have, he listens to us.

14And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us,
