26He behaved in the vilest manner by going after idols, like the Amorites the Lord drove out before Israel.)

26He also acted very despicably in following idols, conforming to everything that the Amorites had done, whom the Lord drove out from the sons of Israel.

26He acted very repulsively in following idols, in accordance with everything the Amorites had done, whom the Lord expelled [from the land] before the sons of Israel.

26He committed the most detestable acts by going after idols, just like the Amorites whom the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.)

26And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites did, whom Jehovah cast out before the children of Israel.)

26Ahab was so wicked that he worshipped useless idols, as the Amorites did. The Lord had chased those people out of the land so that the Israelites could live there.

26and he does very abominably to go after the idols, according to all that the Amorite did whom YHWH dispossessed from the presence of the sons of Israel.”
