1 Peter 5:9

9Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

9So resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brothers and sisters who are in the world.

9But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack—rooted, established, immovable], knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being experienced by your brothers and sisters throughout the world. [You do not suffer alone.]

9Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.

9whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.

9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren which are in the world.

9Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.

9Stand up to him. Remain strong in what you believe. You know that you are not alone in your suffering. The family of believers throughout the world is going through the same thing.

9But you must be strong to fight against him. Trust God completely. Remember this: Believers all over the world are having the same kind of trouble.

9whom you must resist, steadfast in the faith, having known the same sufferings of your brotherhood to be accomplished in the world.
