1 Samuel 4:14

14Eli heard the outcry and asked, “What is the meaning of this uproar?”

The man hurried over to Eli,

14When Eli heard the noise of the outcry, he said, “What does the noise of this commotion mean?” Then the man came hurriedly and told Eli.

So the man hurried over and reported to Eli.

14And when Eli heard the noise of the crying, he said, What meaneth the noise of this tumult? And the man hasted, and came and told Eli.

14And when Eli heard the noyse of the crying, he sayd, What meaneth this noyse of the tumult? and the man came in hastily, and tolde Eli.

14When Eli heard the noise of the crying, he said, “What does the noise of this tumult mean?”

The man hurried, and came and told Eli.

14Eli heard the people crying out. He asked, “What’s the meaning of all this noise?”

The man hurried over to Eli.

14Eli heard the people's loud voices. He asked, ‘What is causing all the noise?’

The soldier quickly went to tell Eli the news.

14And Eli hears the noise of the cry and says, “What [is] the noise of this tumult?” And the man hurried, and comes in, and tells Eli.
