1 Samuel 8:9

9Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”

9Now then, listen to their voice; however, you shall warn them strongly and tell them of the practice of the king who will reign over them.”

9Now listen to their voice; but you must solemnly warn them and show them the manner of the king who will reign over them.”

9Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit thou shalt protest solemnly unto them, and shalt show them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

9Nowe therefore hearken vnto their voyce: howbeit yet testifie vnto them, and shewe them the maner of ye King that shall reigne ouer them.

9Now therefore, listen to their voice. However, you shall protest solemnly to them, and shall show them the way of the king who will reign over them.”

9Let them have what they want. But give them a strong warning. Let them know what the king who rules over them will expect to be done for him.”

9So do what they are asking you to do. But warn them about what will happen. Tell them how their kings will rule over them.’

9And now, listen to their voice; only, surely you certainly protest to them, and have declared to them the custom of the king who reigns over them.”
