1 Samuel 9:8

8The servant answered him again. “Look,” he said, “I have a quarter of a shekel9:8 That is, about 1/10 ounce or about 3 grams of silver. I will give it to the man of God so that he will tell us what way to take.”

8The servant answered Saul again and said, “Look, I have in my hand a fourth of a shekel of silver; I will give it to the man of God and he will tell us our way.”

8The servant answered Saul again and said, “Behold, I have in my hand a fourth of a shekel of silver; I will give it to the man of God and he will tell us our way.”

8The servant replied again to Saul, “Here in my hand I have a quarter of a shekel of silver; I will give that to the man of God, and he will advise us as to [where we should go on] our journey [to find the donkeys].”

8The servant answered him again. “Look,” he said, “I have here in my hand a quarter shekel of silver.9:8 A quarter shekel is approximately 0.1 ounces or 2.85 grams of silver. I will give it to the man of God, and he will tell us our way.”

8The servant answered Saul again. “Look,” he said. “I’ve got a tenth of an ounce of silver. I’ll give it to the man of God. Then maybe he’ll tell us which way to go.”
