2 Chronicles 33:12

12In his distress he sought the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors.

12When Manasseh was in trouble, he asked the Lord his God to help him. He made himself very humble in the sight of the God of his people.

12This gave Manasseh a lot of pain. He asked the Lord his God to be kind to him. He made himself humble and he prayed for help to the Lord, the God of his ancestors.

12And when he is in distress he has appeased the face of his God YHWH, and is exceedingly humbled before the God of his fathers,
