2 Corinthians 10:13

13We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the sphere of service God himself has assigned to us, a sphere that also includes you.

13But we will not boast beyond our measure, but 10:13 Lit according to the measurewithin the measure of the 10:13 Or assignment; lit standarddomain which God assigned to us as a measure, to reach even as far as you.

13But we will not boast beyond our measure, but within the measure of the sphere which God apportioned to us as a measure, to reach even as far as you.

13We, on the other hand, will not boast beyond our proper limit, but [will keep] within the 10:13 I.e. ministry to the Gentiles.limits of our commission (territory, authority) which God has granted to us as a measure, which reaches and includes even you.

13We, however, will not boast beyond our limits, but only within the field of influence that God has assigned to us — a field that reaches even to you.

13But I won’t brag more than I should. God himself has given me an opportunity for serving. I will only brag about what I have done with that opportunity. This opportunity for serving also includes you.
