2 Corinthians 12:16

16Be that as it may, I have not been a burden to you. Yet, crafty fellow that I am, I caught you by trickery!

16But be that as it may, I did not burden you myself; nevertheless, devious person that I am, I took you in by deceit.

16But be that as it may, I did not burden you [with my support]. But [some say that] I was sly and took you by trickery.

16Be that as it may, I was not a burden to you; but crafty as I am, I caught you by trickery.

16But be it so, I did not myself burden you; but, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

16But bee it that I charged you not: yet for as much as I was craftie, I tooke you with guile.

16Even so, I myself didn’t burden you. But you might say that being crafty, I caught you with deception.

16In any case, I haven’t caused you any expense. But I’m so tricky! I have caught you by tricking you! Or so you think!

16I did not give you trouble. You surely know that. But some of you say that I deceived you. You think that I was clever and I got money from you.

16And be it [so], I did not burden you, but being crafty, I took you with guile;
