2 Corinthians 4:17

17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

17For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,

17For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]!

17For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory that is far beyond comparison.

17For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;

17For our light affliction which is but for a moment, causeth vnto vs a farre most excellent and an eternall waight of glorie:

17For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory,

17Our troubles are small. They last only for a short time. But they are earning for us a glory that will last forever. It is greater than all our troubles.

17We have these little troubles that continue for a short time. But as a result, we will receive the great things that God has prepared for us. Those great things are much more important than our little troubles. And God's great things will continue for ever!

17for the momentary light matter of our tribulation works out for us more and more an exceedingly continuous weight of glory—
