2 Corinthians 5:21

21God made him who had no sin to be sinfor us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

21He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

21He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].

21God made Him who knew no sin to be sinon our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

21Him who knew no sin he made to besin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

21For he hath made him to be sinne for vs, which knewe no sinne, that we should be made the righteousnesse of God in him.

21Christ didn’t have any sin. But God made him become sin for us. So we can be made right with God because of what Christ has done for us.

21Christ never did any wrong thing, but God punished him as if he had. He died as punishmentfor our sins. As a result, we become right with God when we belong to Christ. We become right, because he is right.

21He made Him having not known sin [to be] sin in our behalf, that we may become the righteousness of God in Him.
