2 Corinthians 8:13

13Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality.

13For this is not for the relief of others and for your hardship, but by way of equality—

13For this is not for the ease of others and for your affliction, but by way of equality—

13For it is not [intended] that others be relieved [of their responsibility] and that you be 8:13 Lit afflicted.burdened [unfairly], but 8:13 Lit from equality.that there be equality [in sharing the burden]—

13It is not our intention that others may be relieved while you are burdened, but that there may be equality.

13We don’t want others to have it easy at your expense. We want things to be equal.
