2 Corinthians 8:4

4they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people.

4begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints,

4begging us insistently for the privilege of participating in the service for [the support of] the saints [in Jerusalem].

4they earnestly pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints.

4beseeching us with much entreaty in regard of this grace and the fellowship in the ministering to the saints:

4And praied vs with great instance that we woulde receiue the grace, and fellowship of the ministring which is toward the Saints.

4begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the saints.

4they begged us for the chance to share in serving the Lord’s people in that way.

4They wanted the chance to help God's people. That would make them happy. So they asked us many times to help them to do this.

4with much plea calling on us to receive the favor and the fellowship of the ministry to the holy ones,
