2 Kings 15:38

38Jotham rested with his ancestors and was buried with them in the City of David, the city of his father. And Ahaz his son succeeded him as king.

38And Jotham 15:38 I.e., diedlay down with his fathers, and he was buried with his fathers in the city of his father David; and his son Ahaz became king in his place.

38And Jotham slept with his fathers, and he was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Ahaz his son became king in his place.

38Jotham slept with his fathers [in death], and was buried with them in the City of David his father (ancestor). Ahaz his son became king in his place.

38And Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David his father. And his son Ahaz reigned in his place.

38Jotham joined the members of his family who had already died. He was buried in the family tomb in the city of King David. Jotham’s son Ahaz became the next king after him.
