2 Kings 17:8

8and followed the practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before them, as well as the practices that the kings of Israel had introduced.

8They also 17:8 Lit walked infollowed the 17:8 Lit statutescustoms of the nations whom the Lord had driven out from the sons of Israel, and in the customs of the kings of Israel which they had 17:8 Lit madeintroduced.

8and walked in the customs of the nations whom the Lord had driven out before the sons of Israel, and in the customs of the kings of Israel which they had introduced.

8and walked in the customs of the [pagan] nations whom the Lord had driven out before the sons (descendants) of Israel, and in the pagan customs of the kings of Israel which they had introduced.

8and walked in the customs of the nations that the Lord had driven out before the Israelites, as well as in the practices introduced by the kings of Israel.

8The Lord had driven out other nations to make room for Israel. But they followed the evil practices of those nations. They also followed the practices that the kings of Israel had started.
