2 Kings 2:21

21Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’ ”

21Then he went out to the spring of water and threw salt 2:21 Lit therein it and said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have 2:21 Lit healedpurified these waters; there shall not come from there death or 2:21 Lit anything causing miscarriagesunfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

21He went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said, “Thus says the Lord, ‘I have purified these waters; there shall not be from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

21Then Elisha went to the spring of water and threw the salt in it and said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘I [not the salt] have purified and healed these waters; there shall no longer be death or barrenness because of it.’ ”

21and Elisha went out to the spring, cast the salt into it, and said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have healed this water. No longer will it cause death or unfruitfulness.2:21 Or barrenness’”

21Then he went out to the spring. He threw the salt into it. He told the people, “The Lord says, ‘I have made this water pure. It will never cause death again. It will never keep the land from producing crops again.’ ”
