2 Kings 9:31

31As Jehu entered the gate, she asked, “Have you come in peace, you Zimri, you murderer of your master?”9:31 Or “Was there peace for Zimri, who murdered his master?”

31As Jehu entered the gate, she said, “Is your intention peace, Zimri, his master’s murderer?”

31As Jehu entered the gate, she said, “Is it well, Zimri, your master’s murderer?”

31As Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, “Is it well, 9:31 A sarcastic reference to Zimri who gained his throne by assassination, but ruled only seven days.Zimri, your master’s murderer?” [1 Kin 16:9, 10]

31And as Jehu entered the gate, she asked, “Have you come in peace, O Zimri, murderer of your master?”9:31 Or “Is there peace for Zimri, the murderer of his master?”See 1 Kings 16:10.

31Jehu entered the gate below. Jezebel said to him, “You are just like Zimri. You murdered your master. Have you come here in peace?”
