2 Peter 1:3

3His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

3for His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

3For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

3His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

3seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;

3According as his diuine power hath giuen vnto vs all things that perteine vnto life and godlinesse, through the acknowledging of him that hath called vs vnto glory and vertue.

3God’s power has given us everything we need to lead a godly life. All of this has come to us because we know the God who chose us. He chose us because of his own glory and goodness.

3God is very powerful because he is God. He has used that power to help us. He has given us everything that we need to live in a good way. We can do things that please God. This is possible because now we know him. God has chosen us to be his people because he is very great and very good.

3As His divine power has given to us all things pertaining to life and piety, through the acknowledgment of Him who called us through glory and virtue,
