2 Samuel 19:10

10and Absalom, whom we anointed to rule over us, has died in battle. So why do you say nothing about bringing the king back?”

10However, Absalom, whom we anointed over us, has died in battle. Now then, why are you silent about bringing the king back?”

10And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, has died in battle. So now, why are you [leaders] doing nothing about bringing back the king?”

10But Absalom, the man we anointed over us, has died in battle. So why do you say nothing about restoring the king?”

10And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back?

10And Absalom, whome we anoynted ouer vs, is dead in battel: therefore why are ye so slow to bring the King againe?

10Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why don’t you speak a word of bringing the king back?”

10We anointed Absalom to rule over us. But he has died in battle. So why aren’t any of you talking about bringing the king back?”

10We chose Absalom to be our king, but now he has died in the battle. We should surely go and bring David back to be our king again.’

10and Absalom whom we anointed over us [is] dead in battle, and now, why are you silent—to bring back the king?”
