2 Samuel 3:6

6During the war between the house of Saul and the house of David, Abner had been strengthening his own position in the house of Saul.

6Now it happened that while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, Abner was strengthening himself in the house of Saul.

6Now while war continued between the houses of Saul and David, Abner was proving himself strong in the house of Saul.

6During the war between the house of Saul and the house of David, Abner had continued to strengthen his position in the house of Saul.

6And it came to pass, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner made himself strong in the house of Saul.

6Nowe while there was warre betweene the house of Saul and the house of Dauid, Abner made all his power for the house of Saul.

6While there was war between Saul’s house and David’s house, Abner made himself strong in Saul’s house.

6The fighting continued between David’s royal house and Saul’s royal house. Abner gained more and more power in the royal house of Saul.

6The war continued between David's men and the men who fought on behalf of Saul's family. Abner was becoming a more powerful leader among Saul's group.

6And it comes to pass, in the war being between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner has been strengthening himself in the house of Saul,
