12Then David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel and had exalted his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel.

12Then David knew that the Lord had made his position as king secure. He knew that he had made him king over the whole nation of Israel. He knew that the Lord had greatly honored his kingdom. The Lord had done it because the Israelites were his people.

12David knew that the Lord had made him strong as king over Israel. He knew that God had given honour to his kingdom, to help his people, the Israelites.

12and David knows that YHWH has established him for king over Israel, and that He has lifted up his kingdom, because of His people Israel.
