2 Samuel 9:8

8Mephibosheth bowed down and said, “What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?”

8Again he prostrated himself, and said, “What is your servant, that you should be concerned about a dead dog like me?”

8Again Mephibosheth lay himself face down and said, “What is your servant, that you would be concerned for a dead dog like me?”

8Mephibosheth bowed down and said, “What is your servant, that you should show regard for a dead dog like me?”

8And he did obeisance, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?

8And he bowed himselfe and sayd, What is thy seruant, that thou shouldest looke vpon such a dead dog as I am?

8He bowed down, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look at such a dead dog as I am?”

8Mephibosheth bowed down to David. He said, “Who am I? Why should you pay attention to me? I’m nothing but a dead dog.”

8Mephibosheth bent his body low. He said, ‘I am your servant, no better than a dead dog. I do not deserve that you should be so kind to me.’

8And he bows himself and says, “What [is] your servant, that you have turned to the dead dog—such as I?”
