2 Timothy 1:7

7For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

7For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

7For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline.

7For God hath not giuen to vs the Spirite of feare, but of power, and of loue, and of a sound minde.

7For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

7God gave us his Spirit. And the Spirit doesn’t make us weak and fearful. Instead, the Spirit gives us power and love. He helps us control ourselves.

7Be strong, because God has given us his Spirit. And his Spirit does not cause us to be afraid. Instead, his Spirit causes us to be powerful to serve God. He helps us to love God and other people. And he helps us to control ourselves properly.
