2 Timothy 3:5

5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

5holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these.

5holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them.

5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!

5holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.

5Hauing a shewe of godlinesse, but haue denied the power thereof: turne away therefore from such.

5holding a form of godliness but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also.

5They will act as if they were serving God. But what they do will show that they have turned their backs on God’s power. Have nothing to do with these people.

5Those people will seem to be serving God. But really they refuse to accept God's power to help them. You must stay away from people like that.

5having a form of piety, but having denied its power; and be turning away from these,
