15“Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them.
15and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men, of the same nature as you, preaching the gospel to you, to turn from these 14:15 I.e., idolsuseless things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them.
