Acts 19:3

3So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”

“John’s baptism,” they replied.

3And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “Into John’s baptism.”

3And he asked, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John’s baptism.”

3“Into what, then, were you baptized?” Paul asked.

“The baptism of John,” they replied.

3And he said, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John’s baptism.

3And he said vnto them, Vnto what were ye then baptized? And they saide, Vnto Iohns baptisme.

3He said, “Into what then were you baptized?”

They said, “Into John’s baptism.”

3So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”

“John’s baptism,” they replied.

3So Paul asked them, ‘When someone baptized you, what kind of baptism was that?’

They answered, ‘We received the baptism that John spoke about.’

3and he said to them, “Into what, then, were you immersed?” And they said, “Into John’s immersion.”
