Acts 2:6

6When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken.

6A crowd came together when they heard the sound. They were bewildered because each of them heard their own language being spoken.

6When these Jews heard the noise, a large crowd of them came together in that place. As the believers spoke, each person in the crowd could hear the message in their own language. This confused them.

6and the rumor of this having come, the multitude came together, and was confounded, because they were, each one, hearing them speaking in his proper dialect,
