Acts 23:14

14They went to the chief priests and the elders and said, “We have taken a solemn oath not to eat anything until we have killed Paul.

14And they came to the chiefe Priestes and Elders, and said, We haue bound our selues with a solemne curse, that wee will eate nothing, vntill we haue slaine Paul.

14They went to the chief priests and the elders. They said, “We have made a special promise to God. We will not eat anything until we have killed Paul.

14They went to the leaders of the priests and the important Jews. They said to them, ‘We have agreed together to make a serious promise to God. We will not eat anything until we have killed Paul.

14who having come near to the chief priests and to the elders said, “With a curse we accursed ourselves—to taste nothing until we have killed Paul;
