Acts 25:17

17When they came here with me, I did not delay the case, but convened the court the next day and ordered the man to be brought in.

17So when I came back here, the Jewish leaders and the leaders of their priests came with me. I did not wait for long. The next day I sat down on my special seat as judge. I told my soldiers to bring this man to me.

17They, therefore, having come together—I, making no delay, on the succeeding [day] having sat on the judgment seat, commanded the man to be brought,
