Acts 27:11

11But the centurion, instead of listening to what Paul said, followed the advice of the pilot and of the owner of the ship.

11But the centurion was more persuaded by the pilot and the 27:11 Or ownercaptain of the ship than by what was being said by Paul.

11But the centurion was more persuaded by the pilot and the captain of the ship than by what was being said by Paul.

11However, the centurion [Julius, ranking officer on board] was persuaded by the pilot and the owner of the ship rather than by what Paul said.

11But contrary to Paul’s advice, the centurion was persuaded by the pilot and by the owner of the ship.

11But the commander didn’t listen to what Paul said. Instead, he followed the advice of the pilot and the ship’s owner.
