14Before very long, a wind of hurricane force, called the Northeaster, swept down from the island.

14But before very long a violent wind, called Euraquilo, rushed down from the land;

14But soon afterward a violent wind, called Euraquilo [a northeaster, a tempestuous windstorm like a typhoon], came rushing down from the island;

14But it was not long before a cyclone called the Northeaster swept down across the island.

14But after no long time there beat down from it a tempestuous wind, which is called Euraquilo:

14But anon after, there arose by it a stormy winde called Euroclydon.

14But before long, a stormy wind beat down from shore, which is called Euroclydon.

14Before very long, a wind blew down from the island. It had the force of a hurricane. It was called the Northeaster.

14But soon a very strong wind began to blow. This wind blew from the north-east and it blew strongly across the island.

14and not long after, there came down from it a turbulent wind [that] is called the Euroclydon,
