Acts 27:28

28They took soundings and found that the water was twenty fathoms deep.27:28 20 fathoms is approximately 120 feet or 36.6 meters. Going a little farther, they took another set of soundings that read fifteen fathoms.27:28 15 fathoms is approximately 90 feet or 27.4 meters.

28They measured how deep the water was. They found that it was 120 feet deep. A short time later they measured the water again. This time it was 90 feet deep.
