1Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta.

1When they had been brought safely through, then we found out that the island was called Malta.

1After we were safe [on land], we found out that the island was called Malta.

1And when we were escaped, then we knew that the island was called Melita.

1And when they were come safe, then they knewe that the Yle was called Melita.

1So then we were on the shore and we were all safe. We discovered that the island was called Malta.

1And having been saved, then they knew that the island is called Malta,
