Colossians 3:8

8But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

8But now rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, malice, slander, and obscene (abusive, filthy, vulgar) language from your mouth.

8But now you must put aside all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

8but now do ye also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, railing, shameful speaking out of your mouth:

8But now put ye away euen all these things, wrath, anger, maliciousnes, cursed speaking, filthie speaking, out of your mouth.

8but now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.

8But now here are the kinds of things you must also get rid of. You must get rid of anger, rage, hate and lies. Let no dirty words come out of your mouths.

8But now you must refuse to do all kinds of things like that. Do not become angry with people or shout at them. Do not do anything or say anything that will hurt other people. Do not speak any bad or disgusting words.

8but now put off, even you, the whole—anger, wrath, malice, slander, filthy talking—out of your mouth.
