Daniel 8:11

11It set itself up to be as great as the commander of the army of the Lord; it took away the daily sacrifice from the Lord, and his sanctuary was thrown down.

11It even exalted itself 8:11 Lit up to theto be equal with the 8:11 Or PrinceCommander of the army; and it removed the regular sacrifice from Him, and the place of His sanctuary was overthrown.

11It even magnified itself to be equal with the Commander of the host; and it removed the regular sacrifice from Him, and the place of His sanctuary was thrown down.

11Indeed, it magnified itself to be equal with the 8:11 Or Prince, i.e. God.Commander of the host [of heaven]; and it took away from Him the daily sacrifice (burnt offering), and the place of His sanctuary was thrown down (profaned).

11It magnified itself, even to the Prince of the host; it removed His daily sacrifice and overthrew the place of His sanctuary.

11It set itself up to be as great as the commander of the Lord’s army. It took away the daily sacrifices from the Lord. And his temple in Jerusalem was thrown down.
