Deuteronomy 11:2

2Remember today that your children were not the ones who saw and experienced the discipline of the Lord your God: his majesty, his mighty hand, his outstretched arm;

2 Know this day that it is not your children who have known and seen the discipline of the Lord your God: His greatness, His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm;

2Remember today that your children weren’t the ones the Lord your God guided and corrected. They didn’t see his majesty. They weren’t in Egypt when he reached out his mighty hand and powerful arm.
