Deuteronomy 19:16

16If a malicious witness takes the stand to accuse someone of a crime,

16If a malicious witness rises up against a person to testify against him of wrongdoing,

16If a malicious witness rises up against a man to accuse him of wrongdoing,

16If a malicious witness rises up against a man to [falsely] accuse him of wrongdoing,

16If a false witness testifies against someone, accusing him of a crime,

16Suppose a witness who tells lies goes to court and brings charges against someone. The witness says someone committed a crime.
