Deuteronomy 22:14

14and slanders her and gives her a bad name, saying, “I married this woman, but when I approached her, I did not find proof of her virginity,”

14and he charges her with shameful behavior and 22:14 Lit brings out an evil reputation against herpublicly defames her, and says, ‘I took this woman, but when I came near her, I did not find her to have evidence of virginity,’

14and charges her with shameful deeds and publicly defames her, and says, ‘I took this woman, but when I came near her, I did not find her a virgin,’

14and charges her [without cause] with shameful behavior and 22:14 Lit brings upon her an evil name.publicly defames her, and says, ‘I took this woman, but when I approached her, I did not find in her evidence of virginity,’

14and he then accuses her of shameful conduct and gives her a bad name, saying, “I married this woman and had relations with her, but I discovered she was not a virgin.”

14So he tells lies about her and says she’s a bad woman. He says, “I married this woman. But when I slept with her, I discovered she wasn’t a virgin.”
