Deuteronomy 25:6

6The first son she bears shall carry on the name of the dead brother so that his name will not be blotted out from Israel.

6It shall then be that the firstborn to whom she gives birth shall 25:6 Lit stand onassume the name of his father’s deceased brother, so that his name will not be wiped out from Israel.

6Her first baby boy will be named after her first husband. Then the dead man’s name will continue in Israel.
