Deuteronomy 8:17

17You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.”

17Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.’

17Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.’

17You might say in your heart, “The power and strength of my hands have made this wealth for me.”

17and lest thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand hath gotten me this wealth.

17Beware least thou say in thine heart, My power, and the strength of mine owne hand hath prepared me this abundance.

17and lest you say in your heart, “My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.”

17You might say to yourself, “My power and my strong hands have made me rich.”

17You must never say to yourself, ‘I have got all these valuable things because I am strong and clever!’

17and you have said in your heart, My power and the might of my hand have made this wealth for me.
