Ecclesiastes 3:12

12I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live.

12So I realized that people should be happy. They should enjoy good things as long as they live. There is nothing better for people to do than that.

12I have known that there is no good for them except to rejoice and to do good during their life,
